DAY 1: Arrival in Rathdrum
From your point of arrival, use the public transport information we provide to make the journey to Rathdrum.
DAY 2: Iron Bridge - Laragh
29km (31km via Spink) • 7 - 9 hours • (↑) 800m
The trail now climbs steeply upwards to Borenacrow Saddle. The scenery here is stunning in all directions. From the saddle, you can choose to descend into Glendalough either along the Wicklow Way or to take the longer, but arguably more beautiful route via the Spink.
DAY 3: Laragh - Enniskerry
26km (29km via Scarr) • 7 - 9 hours • (↑) 950/1250m
After crossing the Glenmacnass River you make your way up Paddock Hill then down into Oldbridge. If the weather is good, take the opportunity to climb Scarr Mountain (641m). Another short climb takes you past Powerscourt Waterfall on your right before you head down into Crone Woods.
DAY 4: Departure from Enniskerry
There is a regular bus service from Enniskerry to Dublin City. We will be happy to provide you with further details upon request.
