Day 2 Ventry - Slea Head

Day 4 Ballyferriter - Cuas

Day 5 Cuas - Cloghane
13.7 Miles / 22 Km 6-8 Hrs 720 MetresThe climb over the shoulder of Masatiompan is the steepest on the Dingle Way but the views are unparalleled and make every last bit of effort expended worthwhile.

Day 6 Cloghane - Scraggane Pier
9.9 Miles / 16 Km 4-6 Hrs 30 MetresLeaving Cloghane, you emerge onto a magnificent beach stretching for more than 10km along a narrow peninsula jutting out towards the Seven Hogs – a group of islands also known as the Magharees.

Day 7 Scraggane Pier - Camp
11.8 Miles / 19 Km 4-6 Hrs 100 MetresFollow the eastern side of the peninsula through sand dunes and long beaches back to Castlegregory village and then continue along the coastline as far as Camp.

Day 8 Camp - Tralee*
11.2 Miles / 18 Km 4-6 Hrs 200 MetresFrom Camp, you follow a track that takes you along the side of the Slieve Mish Mountains to Blennerville – the site of Ireland’s largest windmill. A canal path leads you back into Tralee.
Compared to the rest of the route, the condition of this section of the trail can be quite muddy. There are ongoing efforts to improve the trail condition, but these improvements may not be in place yet for your hike. -
Day 9 Departure from Tralee
