Clara Oberle Hillwalk Tours

Clara is originally from the East of France. Growing up, she’d often go hiking, canoeing and camping around her region with her parents, which instilled a deep love and respect for nature in her. After finishing school, she spent some time volunteering in organic farms, gardens and sustainable communities around Norway and Ireland. It’s safe to say that Clara fell in love with Ireland because she moved to Galway shortly after, and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychological Studies, as well as a MA in English. Even in her studies, her interest for the outdoors was never too far as her final dissertation focused mainly on Jack London’s The Call of the Wild (her favourite book!).

Clara had been searching for a long time for the ideal place to work where she could truly connect with the experience provided to the customers. This brought her to Hillwalk Tours! As our Business Support Specialist, Clara wears many hats in the company. She’s there to ensure things are running smoothly with our suppliers and she works with Eimear our Head of Human Resources to make sure our employees stay happy!

Outside of work, you’re probably most likely to find Clara curled up with a book, a podcast or Netflix (let’s be honest) and a chai latte (her favourite drink!) as she just loves everything cosy. She also enjoys going out on walks and spending time with loved ones. Clara is also very passionate about mental health and everything relating to psychology and mindfulness.
