Dorothy Goodwin Hillwalk Tours

Originating from a small town in the midlands of Ireland, Dorothy pursued a science degree at UCD. Graduating amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Dorothy contributed to the Covid-19 response working in a testing laboratory while also earning a postgraduate degree in business and pharmaceuticals at TCD. Seeking adventure, she ventured to France for a winter season, taking on the role of chalet host in les Trois Vallées. Drawn back to the mountains after a summer of surfing and travelling, Dorothy took on a role as a chef in a chalet in Val d’Isere for a second winter season.

Working for Hillwalk Tours as a Customer Experience Route Specialist allows Dorothy to harmoniously blend her deep appreciation for the outdoors with her passion for crafting unforgettable moments for people. Dorothy resonates deeply with Hillwalk Tours’ commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering sustainable tourism. Moreover, she finds immense joy in the positive and supportive work environment at the company.

Outside of work, Dorothy is an avid enthusiast of outdoor adventures, whether it be hiking scenic trails, sailing on tranquil waters, carving on skis, surfing (badly) or swimming in the sea. During her downtime, she loves to cook and bake, with her current culinary endeavour being the art of sourdough bread.
