Free Date Change
We want you to book your Hillwalk Tour with complete confidence. That’s why every customer can make one date change for free, for any reason, up to 30 days before departure.
This means you can move your start date to any other available date in 2026 or 2027 if your plans change – without paying an administrative fee.
Terms and Conditions:
- One free date change per booking, for any reason.
- Changes can be made up to 30 days before departure (subject to availability) provided your balance has been paid.
- The new departure date must be before 31 December 2027.
Flexible Deposits
We understand that plans can change due to unforeseen events and want to give you the flexibility to reuse your deposit.
If you need to cancel more than 42 days before your start date, your deposit doesn’t disappear. Instead, it instantly becomes a non-refundable travel credit, valid for 5 years, and usable on any Hillwalk Tours itinerary.
This gives you real protection and genuine flexibility without the stress of losing your deposit.
Cancel Your Tour for Any Reason
We also offer our ‘Cancel for Any Reason’ protection for even greater peace of mind. For just €50.00/£50.00 per person, this add-on gives you the freedom to cancel your tour up to 14 days before departure and receive a full refund of your tour payments, with no penalties. Please note that the protection fee itself is non-refundable.
To activate this protection, it must be purchased by all participants on the booking, and the fee will be added to your deposit at the time of booking.
While we always recommend full travel insurance (to cover medical expenses, repatriation, etc.), adding ‘Cancel for Any Reason’ protection gives you peace of mind that your payments are protected if your circumstances change.
Terms and Conditions:
- This protection applies only if you cancel more than 14 days before your tour starts. Tours that are cancelled within 14 days of the start of the tour are subject to normal cancellation T&Cs.
- The protection fee itself is non-refundable.
- This protection does not cover non-refundable credits or vouchers already being held for a customer.
- This protection must be purchased by all participants on a booking.
