Join Hillwalk Tours on a private guided walking tour of the Burren and Connemara. Our unique one-day tours depart from the Hillwalk Tours office in Galway every Saturday morning at 7.00 am throughout the summer (April to Sept).
Our Guided Burren Walking Tours bring you on a spectacular walk along the breath-taking Cliffs of Moher, considered by many to be one of the wonders of the world. We then continue to Doolin, the traditional music capital of Ireland. On our walk, we will experience and learn all about this beautiful and fascinating limestone landscape, known as ‘The Fertile Rock’ due to its rich treasury of rare wild flowers. You will discover 300 million-year-old fossils and monuments of a human heritage spanning more than 6,000 years.
Our Guided Connemara Walking Tours explore a fascinating landscape that will bring you over mountains and wide moorlands studded with thatched cottages and turf-cutting and take you back to an Ireland of times gone by. Experience this dramatic landscape that has inspired great writers such as Oscar Wilde and WB Yeats and finish your day with Irish music sessions in the pubs of Galway.
