These tours become available when a previous guest cancels their booking after all arrangements have been made with our suppliers. Instead of cancelling everything, we offer the tour as an ‘Instant Escape’ to others for a limited time, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a well-organized, pre-arranged itinerary.
No more waiting for availability! With Instant Escapes, you get to enjoy a meticulously planned walking holiday without the usual delays or hassles. It’s the perfect opportunity for those ready to go at a moment’s notice.
Before booking, please check that the dates, itinerary, guest numbers, and room types meet your needs. While changes to guest numbers and room types may be possible, the itinerary and dates cannot be altered.
In some circumstances, minor changes to our Instant Escapes may be possible, depending on what is being requested. For example,
- If an Instant Escape tour is listed for 4 Guests and with 2 x Double Rooms booked, but you are a party of 2 requiring just 1 x Double Room, it’s possible for us to amend this tour and remove one of the double rooms originally booked.
- However, if an Instant Escape tour is listed for 4 Guests and with 2 x Double Rooms booked, but you are a party of 3 requiring 1 x Triple Room, it’s not possible for us to change the 2 x Double Rooms to a 1 x Triple Room.
Therefore, depending on the request, some changes may be made to our listed Instant Escapes, while others cannot. Please talk to a team member about any changes / adjustments you would like to make to an Instant Escape tour in advance of booking, as our team will be able to advise on what’s possible and what’s not.
If changes are made to any Instant Escapes, then depending on the changes, a new ‘final tour price’ will be provided to you in advance.
Removing extra night(s) from an Instant Escape is possible, but only for extra night(s) that might be booked at the beginning or end of the tour*. It is not possible to remove any extra nights that might be booked at locations during the tour, as this would disrupt the rest of the itinerary.
* Note: Occasionally, depending on the tour &/or itinerary, removing an extra night at the start or end location may not be possible. Please discuss any extra night(s) removal requests on our Instant Escape tours with one of our team members in advance as they’ll be able to advise on what’s possible in advance of booking.
Our Instant Escape tours can be booked via email or phone. You must quote the booking reference of the Instant Escape tour you would like to do when booking.
One of our team members will then need to collect and confirm some information from you, to include:
- First & Last Name of participant(s)
- Date of Birth of participant(s)
- Email address of lead customer
- Phone number of lead customer
- Postal address of lead customer
- Dietary requirements of participant(s)
- Any change requests you may have
Once the details are finalised, a team member will issue you with an invoice for the full tour price for payment of the tour. Once this invoice has been paid, you’re tour will be successfully booked and you can proceed with making other travel arrangements.
Our Instant Escape tours are sold on a first come, first served basis to customers. While it may be possible to adjust the number of guests or room types on an Instant Escape tour, changing the dates or itinerary is not an option. Therefore, please ensure that the details of any listed Instant Escape tour meet your requirements before booking.
If any changes are made to a listed Instant Escape tour on the website, then a team member may issue you with a new ‘final tour price’ in advance of booking in order to reflect the changes made.
