Day 2 Enniskerry - Roundwood9.9 or 11.2 Miles / 16 or 18 Km 5-7 Hrs 600/700 Metres
This section is widely considered to be the highlight of the Wicklow Way trail. After a short transfer, a gentle climb through Crone Woods brings you to a path above the famous Powerscourt Waterfall. Climb onwards around Djouce Mountain and over the summit of White Hill. On your way down you often have stunning views over iconic Lough Tay, the famous Guinness Lake and setting for many movies and TV series. A short transfer from Roundwood will bring you to your B&B.
Day 3 Glenealo Valley and the Spinc8.1 Miles / 13 Km 4-6 Hrs 550 Metres
This popular walk is not part of the Wicklow Way but it offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Wicklow. After a visit to the peaceful valley of Glendasan, follow the Miners Road in Glendalough to the old ‘miner’s village’. An invigorating climb brings you to a bridge at the top of the valley from where hundreds of wooden steps lead to a ridge above the lake with spectacular views back towards Glendalough. Descend via the Poulanass Waterfall to the two lakes and the monastic village.
Day 4 Departure from Glendalough
