Aobh is from Donegal in the northwest of Ireland and grew up surrounded by the dramatic landscape of sea and mountains. From a young age, she felt a strong connection to the natural world, spending her time exploring the hills, walking the coastline, and swimming in the Atlantic.
Curious about the wider world, Aobh spent several years living and studying abroad. She completed her undergraduate law degree in the Netherlands and Greece, gaining not only academic experience but also a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. Eventually, she felt the call to return home. Her love of the sea and natural landscapes led her to Cork, where she is pursuing a master’s in Marine and Maritime Law.
Aobh was drawn to Hillwalk Tours for its strong values around sustainability, a deep respect for nature, and the opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for the outdoors. The company’s ethos resonated with her personal values and lifestyle. In her role as a Customer Experience Specialist, Aobh helps walkers plan memorable and meaningful hiking holidays. She provides personalised advice, offers local recommendations, and ensures every customer feels supported and confident ahead of their adventure. She loves being part of a team that helps people discover the beauty of Ireland, the UK, and beyond – one step at a time.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find Aobh out rowing on the water, hiking a favourite trail, or enjoying a hot coffee after a bracing sea swim. She’s delighted to be part of the Hillwalk Tours team, helping others reconnect with nature through walking.
